Friends of SEAS
Be a Friend of SEAS
* 2011 Update: Our Friends of SEAS campaign was a HUGE success!
We exceeded our goal of $20,000 to raise over $33,000 for our school!
“Friends of SEAS” direct donation Campaign
- Last year was very successful.
- If every family at SEAS donated $70.00 ‐‐ 70 x 300 = $21,000
- Completely voluntary
- Commitment cards to go home in the school bags.
- Our goal is 100% participation by returning the cards, even if the answer is “No thanks”
- Incentives for the kids, class and school
- Every child who turns in their card will get a prize
- Every class who has 100% participation will get a pizza party
- If the school reaches our goal of $20,000 raised, then we will have a free dress day
- Only need 1 card per family – every child will get credit for their class.
- On the back of the commitment card is a place for you to give us names and addresses of other people who might want to be a “Friend of SEAS” (i.e. grandparents, godparents, alumni, aunts/uncles, etc.)
- We will send them a letter, explaining our campaign

Why don’t you just raise our tuition?
- Tuition covers the basic operational needs of the school such as Teacher/Staff Salaries, Insurance, Building costs, curriculum costs, etc.
- Tuition Rates are set by the Parish Total Education Advisory Council and are based on the budgetary needs to operate the school with Parish support.
- SEAS‐PTO strives to fund enhancements to our childrens’ educational experience that would not necessarily be provided by tuition alone
